Case Study:

One Planet Pizza

One Plant Pizza's mission is to create unbelievably tasty plant-based food that’s better for people and the planet. Pizza seemed like a good place to start.

What makes One Planet Pizza a Vegan company?

We are a vegan founded and run business that puts veganism at the heart of every decision we make as a company.

Our purpose is to get plant-based food into the hands (and mouths) of as many people as possible. We’re here to help everyone understand the impact food choices have on our planet, making it easier for us all to eat and live more sustainably.

Our vision is to be the number one vegan pizza brand in Europe, helping millions of people eat and live more sustainably without sacrificing their favourite food.

We work with other vegan businesses where possible, such as choosing the Vegan Society Vegan Trademark over other vegetarian trademarks. Wherever we can, we source our ingredients from other vegan brands like LA VIE or THIS, over brands that offer plant-based products as part of a wider non-vegan range. Where we can, we work with vegan charities and support other brands that are mission aligned.

When we attend non-vegan events we encourage vegan food to be offered at the very least. We also support and help other vegan founders to teach them what we’ve learned on our own journey to be listed with major retailers.

Want to show your customers you are a Certified Vegan Business?

With so many non-vegan companies now selling plant-based products or offering ‘vegan’ services, it’s never been more important to be able to show your customers that you are a genuine vegan business.

The Certified Vegan Business scheme is the way to prove that your company is run on vegan ethics and puts the vegan cause at the heart of your business, by auditing your business against four codes of ethics.
