Case Study:

Kakadu Creative

Kakadu Creative are an ethical design agency, on a mission to help you make a positive impact in the world.

What makes Kakadu Creative a Vegan company?

As a service-led business, we do not work with any business that is involved in any form of animal agriculture or exploitation. As part of this we ask potential clients to confirm that they aren’t involved in any animal exploitation practices in our initial discovery calls and also look through their marketing materials and company literature to confirm.

We also promote supporting services to our clients to promote vegan ethics and animal equality. For example, our default printing partners use vegan inks and glues throughout their services. When we meet clients, we make it clear that we are vegan and suggest vegan locations if available in the area.

We strive to partner and work with vegan owned and operated businesses where possible. For example, our IT partner and digital marketing associates are all vegan. We believe that a big part of furthering the vegan cause is supporting other vegan businesses with our investment. We would rather invest our money into partners who we know have the same ethos as us and won’t be taking our investment in them and spending it on activities and products that harm innocent animals.

We often talk about vegan ethics and the impact veganism has on our planet, animals and health in our social media content. We have guested on podcasts talking about our vegan ethics and how they are a part of our business and we also talk about the fact that we won’t work with businesses that are involved in animal exploitation on our website. Alongside that, we donate 1% of our turnover to a range of charities, including those that are working to rescue and rehabilitate animals.

Want to show your customers you are a Certified Vegan Business?

With so many non-vegan companies now selling plant-based products or offering ‘vegan’ services, it’s never been more important to be able to show your customers that you are a genuine vegan business.

The Certified Vegan Business scheme is the way to prove that your company is run on vegan ethics and puts the vegan cause at the heart of your business, by auditing your business against four codes of ethics.
