Case Study:

BFriendly Music

Duo BFriendly bring their own brand of feelgood reggae music and anecdotal humour to events and venues around the UK.

What makes BFriendly Music a Vegan company?

With the difficulties in the world at the moment, if we can bring a little sunshine into peoples’ lives and help in someway to bring people together and make them more caring and compassionate about the planet we live on, then our mission is accomplished.

Our product is our music and includes songs with vegan messages. We make efforts to buy vegan musical instruments, for example we spent a considerable time sourcing a vegan violin and our drum is made of vegan fibreskyn.

Our main customers are vegan festivals to support the vegan cause, although we also branch out to like-minded events such as wellness festivals where we can include our vegan message in our repertoire. We have special rates for vegan festivals and perform at animal sanctuaries for free.

We consider ourselves part of the vegan family and support other businesses where possible. We sourced our banner from vegan printers, we write songs for vegan events and organisations and we even holiday with a vegan travel company!

We are also always keen to play at children’s events and sow the seeds of the vegan message in a fun way.

Our third BFriendly album is due out shortly, and the plan is to follow this up with a fourth album of vegan activist songs.

Want to show your customers you are a Certified Vegan Business?

With so many non-vegan companies now selling plant-based products or offering ‘vegan’ services, it’s never been more important to be able to show your customers that you are a genuine vegan business.

The Certified Vegan Business scheme is the way to prove that your company is run on vegan ethics and puts the vegan cause at the heart of your business, by auditing your business against four codes of ethics.
